The Fire Lookout and the Stars
Tolmie Peak's abandoned fire lookout.
Shot on the solstice, Paradise still has feet of snow on the ground. After a long hike through the snow, my friend and I arrived here, and the sky erupted into the scene you see presented here.
Mt. St. Helens Composite
This photo showcases two different locations: Mt. St. Helens Johnstone Ridge Observatory, and Paradise. Using some photoshop techniques, I combined the sky and landscape from both, giving the seamless photo seen here.
Out of Focus
My camera was out of focus for this shot, but I enjoyed the interesting effect it played, and decided to keep the photo.

Out of this World
I have never been much of a selfie person, but I had to make an exception here.
This was shot at Mt. St. Helens Johnstone Ridge Observatory
The Milky Way over the Tatoosh Range, just south of Mt. Rainier. These rugged mountains are a phenomenal foreground to this multi panel panorama of the Milky Way.
The Great Swan
Cygnus, the swan constellation, high in the summer sky.
